PROJECT SYNTHESIS
Agriexport 4.0 aims to increase the collective international recognition of Portuguese agrifood products, boosting the internationalization of SME’s through their collective promotion and the establishment of cooperation and coopetition partnerships.
MAIN PLANNED ACTIONS:
- Carrying out a study to survey the conditions for the entry of food products in the markets: Australia, Japan, Canada, Norway;
- Creation of a mobile application to promote the relationship between importer and customer (IOS and Android);
- Conducting reverse missions of importers and opinion makers from Norway, Canada, Netherlands, Japan, Dubai, Peru, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, India, Ireland and Germany;
- Carrying out inverse missions of delegation of digital platform product managers;
- Organization of international business events – Agribusiness 2018 and Agribusiness 2019;
- Carrying out actions to prospect and promote the Portuguese agroindustrial sector, aiming at promoting and valuing the national agroindustrial offer in the markets: USA, Canada, Ireland, Peru, Dubai, China, Norway, Denmark and Finland;
- Exhibition at international fairs: Nordic Organic Food Fair- Natural Products Scandinavia- Sweden; Facim 2018- Mozambique and BIOFACH- Germany;
- Promotion of products shows in the Netherlands and the Czech Republic;
- B2C Digital Marketing Campaign, with the objective of increasing the visibility and notoriety of national products.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
The project’s activities aim to boost the increase in exports of the agroindustrial sector in the Centro and Alentejo region through:
- Training companies for a more effective internationalization with greater added value, especially aimed at more qualified segments of demand in international markets and with the promotion of the use of more sophisticated marketing tools of product differentiation;
- Prospecting for new customers and partners and providing knowledge about them in a free and universal way;
- Creation and availability of tools that facilitate a real rapprochement between SME’s, international customers, importers, distributors and logistics agentes;
- International promotion of the quality image of products in the agroindustrial sector in the Centro and Alentejo region.
